Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes. The deposit is a guarantee for the rental company, ensuring that they have some financial protection in case the car is damaged, lost, or not returned as agreed upon in the rental agreement. It is to be paid/ blocked at the beginning of the rental by the main driver's credit card through a pre-authorization. The deposit amount can be found in the rental conditions of the chosen offer. You can also make use of the deposit filter on our platform to search for offers with a lower deposit.

The deposit will be returned to you at the end of the rental when you returned the rental car in the same state as how you received it.
