Car hire St. Malo TGV Station

General information

St. Malo is situated in the west of France on the Brittany coast. In summer it's the most visited place in Brittany. The old city wall is a major attraction and a good place to see the coastal line. From St. Malo Station it's about a 20-minute walk to the citadel. Walk along the Avenue Louis Martin, cross the street and walk straight ahead. From Paris Montparnasse you can take the TGV with St. Malo being the last station; the train journey takes about 3 hours. There's also a local train which goes to Rennes.

Transportation

You can find the taxi stand on the left side when leaving the station. St. Malo's bus station is located just outside the station on the right-hand side. From here you can reach the entire city and its surroundings. Tickets can be bought with the driver. There are no buses inside the walled city. Do you want to rent a car to visit the city and beautiful Brittany? Avis and Europcar have offices at the station.

The station has paid restrooms and facilities for the disabled.

Restaurants

There are snack and soft-drink dispensers at the station. For mussels, oysters, pancakes, and other Breton specialties it's best to visit St. Malo's center. The station doesn't have much to offer.

Shops

There's a limited selection at St. Malo Station.
