Kiev Airport in a nutshell

Kiev Airport is called Boryspil (or Borispol) International Airport in full. The airport was considerably tidied up for the UEFA Euro 2012, collectively organized by Ukraine and Poland.

The airport is situated 29 kilometers southeast of Kiev's city center. The airport has two train stations: one in the new terminal D and another station nearby the older terminals. The airport lies along highway M03 and is therefore easily reachable by car and bus.

Following the extension and modernization for the European Championship Soccer, the airport has a beautiful and extensive shopping area with restaurants, cafés, and (snack) bars. The Business Class Lounge has a (small) space for press conferences and meetings. More extensive business services, including meeting and conference rooms, are offered by the business hotels in the center of the Ukrainian capital. The airport offers wireless internet. To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
